Huawei has introduced a new premium ultralight notebook, the MateBook Pro S, expanding its HarmonyOS PC lineup.
The laptop is designed for users who want portability without compromising on flagship features.

The MateBook Pro S features a 14.2-inch flexible OLED display with a 3120 x 2080 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1600 nits peak brightness.
It supports touch input and includes what Huawei calls the industry's first Lingdun privacy display, which can be toggled on or off via a dedicated privacy key.
Under the hood, the laptop is powered by Huawei's new Kirin XE90 processor.

Compared to the Kirin X90, it offers a 23% improvement in single-core performance, 25% higher power efficiency, and 40% faster NPU performance.
The chip is paired with a redesigned cooling system that uses dual fans and vertically oriented graphene thermal material, enabling up to 20W sustained performance.
The device also packs a 54Wh battery with 66W USB-C fast charging, and is claimed to deliver over 18 hours of 1080p video playback.
Running HarmonyOS 6.1, the MateBook Pro S includes AI features such as an upgraded Celia assistant, AI meeting transcription, deep research tools, cross-device collaboration, and system-level security enhancements.

Other highlights include six microphones, Wi-Fi 7+, Star Flash audio, and reverse fast charging for compatible devices.
The laptop's magnesium-lithium alloy body weighs just 798g and measures 11.9mm thick, making it Huawei's lightest 14-inch HarmonyOS laptop to date.
