A Houston Rockets star can now focus on the court without worrying about his ex showing up.

Tari Eason's request for a temporary restraining order against Marilyn Maritza Melo Rodriguez was granted by a judge on Thursday.

The order bars Rodriguez from coming near Eason, his home, his workplace, his vehicle, and any NBA facility where he plays or practices.

Allegations of Violence and Property Damage

Eason filed for the restraining order earlier this week, alleging that Rodriguez, whom he described as someone he "used to date," struck him multiple times in the face with a closed fist and threatened to kill him.

He also claimed she went to his Airbnb and poured bleach on his designer clothes, causing an estimated $92,000 in damages.

A hearing is scheduled for August 20 to decide whether the temporary order should be extended into a long-term restraining order.

Eason is entering his fifth NBA season with the Rockets, and the regular season doesn't start until October.
