The watch is priced at ¥1,690 in China, ₹16,995 in India, and €199 in Europe.

Design and Build

The A1000SP-7 retains the familiar octagonal shape of older Casio digital models.

However, it replaces the usual resin construction with a stainless steel case and a solid stainless steel band.

The metal band features a one-touch three-fold clasp and combines brushed and polished finishes.

The watch measures 39.6 by 38 mm with a thickness of 7.3 mm, and it weighs 101 grams.

Casio categorizes the dimensions and styling as unisex.

For the display cover, Casio uses a sapphire crystal instead of the acrylic or mineral glass found on less expensive models.

Sapphire is highly resistant to scratches, making it a standard choice in higher-priced traditional watches.

Beneath the crystal, the watch face has a brass dial with a sunray finish.

A striped vapor deposition on the underside of the glass creates a subtle texture that shifts with lighting and viewing angle.

Features and Battery

Internally, the A1000SP-7 functions like a standard digital watch. It does not include smart features, fitness tracking, or Bluetooth connectivity.

The feature set includes a stopwatch, a daily alarm, an hourly time signal, and a basic auto-calendar. It supports both 12-hour and 24-hour time formats.

The watch is powered by a standard CR1616 coin-cell battery, which Casio estimates will last about three years.

It also includes a white LED backlight for low-light visibility and has a basic water resistance rating suitable for everyday wear.
