Oppo has begun rolling out the July update for ColorOS 16, bringing a range of personalization options, camera improvements, and system refinements to supported devices.
The update focuses on making everyday interactions more customizable while enhancing overall software smoothness.

New Personalization Features
Users can now customize the fingerprint unlock experience by choosing from different icon styles and unlock animations, allowing for unique combinations based on personal preference.
The update also adds Contact Poster preview support, making it easier to view and customize Contact Posters before assigning them to incoming calls.
Camera and Performance Upgrades
The native Camera app receives two new filters: Primrose for warmer tones and Bold B&W for monochrome photography.

These are available directly in the stock camera app, offering more creative options without third-party apps.
Transition animations when launching and switching apps via the Recent Tasks screen have been made smoother.

Face Unlock now supports a backup face profile, useful when wearing glasses or makeup.
General system refinements, improved stability, and performance optimizations are also included to deliver a smoother day-to-day experience.

The ColorOS 16 July update is rolling out in phases for the Oppo Find X9 Ultra, Find X9s, Find X9 Pro, Find X9, Reno 15 Pro 5G, Reno 15 5G, Reno 14 Pro 5G, and Reno 14 5G.
