Xiaomi has unveiled a new handheld fan under its Mijia brand in China. The device is currently available for crowdfunding on Xiaomi Mall at 169 yuan (around $24).
The fan targets outdoor summer use with portability in mind. It delivers an airflow volume of 250m³/h and can project air up to 5 meters away.

According to Xiaomi, this allows effective cooling even in open spaces.
Stepless Speed Control and Motor Performance
A key feature is the 100-level stepless speed adjustment system. Users can fine-tune airflow from a gentle breeze to stronger cooling.
The company says this makes the fan suitable for commuting, camping, concerts, hiking, and waiting outdoors in hot weather.

The fan uses a high-performance DC motor that spins at up to 10,000 RPM. Airflow speed can reach 8.5 meters per second.
Xiaomi also incorporates a diagonal flow impeller and an intelligent wind control algorithm to smooth airflow and reduce noise.

Battery and Charging
The device packs a 5000mAh battery, providing up to 40 hours of use on a full charge. It charges via a Type-C port and supports power bank charging.
Xiaomi claims a 10-minute charge can deliver up to four hours of usage.
Weighing around 260 grams, the fan is compact enough for a backpack. It includes a detachable crossbody strap for easy carrying.

An LED display shows battery level and wind speed settings. A built-in sliding switch helps prevent accidental activation during travel or storage.
