Samsung is accelerating the stable One UI 8.5 rollout, bringing the update to a growing number of Galaxy devices.
The global release began on May 11 with premium models like the Galaxy S25 series, Galaxy Z Fold 7, and Galaxy Z TriFold.

Within days, the update expanded to mid-range phones, including the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36.
More recently, several A and M series devices have received the update, such as the Galaxy M56, Galaxy A35, Galaxy A55, and Galaxy A16 5G.

The following Galaxy models are confirmed to have the update:
- Galaxy S series: S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, S25 Edge, S25 FE; S24, S24+, S24 Ultra, S24 FE; S23, S23+, S23 Ultra, S23 FE
- Galaxy Z series: Z TriFold; Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, Z Flip 7 FE; Z Fold SE; Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6; Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5
- Galaxy A series: A56, A55; A36, A35; A26; A17, A16
- Galaxy M series: M56

Samsung spent five months in beta testing, longer than usual, raising concerns about potential delays for One UI 9.

However, the stable release is now on track, covering over a dozen Galaxy devices.
Unlike previous mid-cycle updates, One UI 8.5 is confirmed for a wider range of phones and tablets.

Samsung has not published an official eligibility list, but the company is expected to expand the rollout further in the coming days.
