Vivo has introduced the T5e, a new budget smartphone in India, focusing on battery life and everyday durability.
The device supports 4G connectivity.

Display and Performance
The T5e sports a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and 1600 x 720 resolution.
Peak brightness reaches 570 nits.
Vivo includes adaptive brightness and a blue light reduction mode for nighttime use. Under the hood, the phone is powered by a 12nm Unisoc T7225 octa-core processor.
It comes with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of eMMC 5.1 storage, expandable via microSD up to 2TB.

The device runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, featuring AI tools for document scanning and text summarization.
Camera and Battery
The camera setup includes an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera.
Instead of additional lenses, Vivo added a high-output flashlight with four adjustable brightness levels and a speaker tuned for higher volume.
The 5,500mAh battery supports 15W charging and reverse charging. Vivo claims it retains over 80% capacity after 1,600 charge cycles.

Build and Connectivity
The T5e has an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. The touchscreen works with wet or greasy hands.
It weighs 199 grams and measures 8.19mm thick, with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Connectivity options include dual 4G SIM, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, and a USB-C 2.0 port.

The Vivo T5e is priced at Rs. 13,999.
