It prioritizes speed over resolution, featuring a 24.5-inch 1080p panel with an overclocked 420Hz refresh rate.
This monitor is aimed at esports titles like Counter-Strike 2 and Valorant, where high frame rates and low input lag are critical.
The Fast IPS panel delivers a minimum response time of 0.3ms.
Key Features and Technology
To enhance motion clarity at 420Hz, the monitor includes Asus's ELMB Sync technology.
This allows backlight strobing to work simultaneously with variable refresh rate features such as G-Sync and FreeSync Premium.
Variable Overdrive 2.0 adjusts pixel response times dynamically based on frame rate changes.
The display covers 90% of the DCI-P3 color space and 115% of sRGB.
It holds VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification, though HDR performance is limited on an edge-lit IPS panel.
Asus also markets ROG Gaming AI features, including a dynamic crosshair that changes color to remain visible against any background, and a shadow boost that brightens dark areas without overexposing the rest of the image.
These settings can be controlled via the DisplayWidget Center desktop app.
The monitor has a compact stand footprint and supports tilt, swivel, pivot, and height adjustments. Connectivity includes DisplayPort 1.4, required to achieve 420Hz, along with HDMI ports.

Asus has not yet announced pricing or a specific release date. The monitor will be available in standard black, with a white version offered as an option.
