Moondrop has introduced the MM3A, a new 3-inch active HiFi speaker designed for desktop use.

Design and Acoustics
The MM3A features a unique cabinet design with multiple curves and no parallel surfaces.
This low-diffraction approach reduces internal standing waves, resulting in a compact speaker that fits comfortably on a desk without dominating the space.
Inside, the speaker pairs a 3-inch aluminum cone driver for mids and bass with a silk dome tweeter for highs.

Two passive radiators are mounted on opposite sides of the cabinet, using rear cavity pressure to extend low-end response beyond what the compact size would typically allow.
Connectivity and Tuning
Connectivity options include USB, optical, 3.5mm AUX, and Bluetooth inputs, making it compatible with computers, phones, and other audio sources.

Moondrop has also built in support for parametric EQ, allowing users to fine-tune the sound through a companion app or PC software.
A fully digital DSP crossover and a dynamic enhancement algorithm handle audio processing, working together to keep bass output controlled and consistent.
This DSP tuning approach aligns with Moondrop's recent products, such as the KADENZ earphones and Space Travel 2 Ultra earbuds.
