Josh Duggar has been transferred again, this time to a federal prison in Ohio, making visits from his family in Arkansas far more challenging.
The former "19 Kids and Counting" star is now at FCI Elkton in Lisbon, Ohio, after a temporary stay at FTC Oklahoma City.

Before Oklahoma, Duggar was held at the Federal Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas, and FCI Seagoville, also in Texas.

His attorney, Beau Brindley, said the distance will severely limit face-to-face visits with his wife, Anna, and their seven children.
Brindley noted the family would have to drive over 13 hours and more than 850 miles to reach the prison.

Despite the hardship, Brindley said the family will try to make the long journey and maintain contact by phone.

The attorney believes Duggar's multiple transfers in recent months are punitive, stemming from Duggar's court disclosure that correctional officers allegedly opened his legal mail at Seagoville.
