Samsung is preparing to refresh its premium tablet lineup, and a regulatory filing has given us the first real look at the Galaxy Tab S12+.
The image, spotted in Safety Korea certification, shows the front design of the tablet.

It confirms that the front camera is tucked into the display bezel, not a punch-hole as some reports suggested.
The Galaxy Tab S12+ appears under model numbers SM-X840 (Wi-Fi) and SM-X846N (5G for Korea).
The decision to keep the camera in the bezel aligns with the tablet's bezel dimensions, which are similar to the Galaxy Tab S11+.
In contrast, the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra is expected to feature a hole-punch selfie camera, a shift from the notch design used on previous Ultra models.

This change is likely driven by the Ultra's slimmer bezels and helps differentiate the two models at different price points.
Under the hood, the Tab S12+ is rumored to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, an upgrade over last year's Dimensity 9400+.
This 3nm processor should deliver improved performance for multitasking, content creation, and gaming.

While full official specs are not yet available, the Tab S12 Ultra is expected to retain a 14.6-inch display and an 11,600mAh battery.
The S12+ is rumored to feature a 12.4-inch screen, matching the size of the Galaxy Tab S10+.
The certification photo also suggests the S12+ has overall dimensions similar to its predecessor.
The entire Galaxy Tab S12 series is expected to launch around September or October 2026.
