The first real-world images of the upcoming Insta360 X6 have surfaced, confirming a significant redesign and key specifications.
The leak comes from Roland Quandt of WinFuture, who spotted the action camera listed at a retailer.

A retail listing at this stage typically signals that an official launch announcement is close.
Compact Redesign
The most noticeable change is the shorter, more compact body. Instead of the elongated shape of previous models, the X6 now resembles a traditional action camera.
The dual-lens setup remains, with one lens on the front and one on the back, both featuring curved fisheye lenses for 360-degree capture.

The side screen has been retained but redesigned with slightly rounded edges.
Based on past models, this screen is expected to handle basic settings and provide a live preview.
Specs and Pricing
In terms of performance, the X6 is said to support 8K video at 50 frames per second in full 360-degree mode.

This is an improvement over the X5, which maxes out at 8K 30fps in the same mode.
Pricing has also leaked.
The base Insta360 X6 is expected to start at around €689 without accessories, while an “Essentials Bundle” could cost about €789.
