Travis Kelce has confirmed a popular fan theory about his proposal to Taylor Swift.
On the season finale of "New Heights," the Kansas City Chiefs star shared details about the August 2025 proposal.

The episode was recorded before their extravagant wedding at Madison Square Garden. Kelce told his brother Jason that starting the podcast season with Swift was "pretty epic."
He admitted spending the entire interview thinking about what would happen next.
"During that recording the entire time, I'm planning, like, I'm gonna ask this woman to marry me after," Kelce said.

Jason noted that the Swift episode was their most-viewed. Kelce called it "one I'll remember forever."
Swifties had speculated that Kelce proposed shortly after the podcast ended. They noticed a headphones imprint on Swift's hair in later photos, supporting the theory.

Kelce's comments now confirm that suspicion.
The couple announced their engagement on August 26. Kelce proposed in his backyard surrounded by flowers.
"Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨" they said.

They later married at Madison Square Garden with over 1,000 guests. The event was described as extravagant.
