Baseus has introduced the Picogo Air AM71, its latest magnetic power bank, to the global market after a debut in China earlier this year.
The device is designed to be exceptionally slim, measuring just 0.27 inches thick and weighing 3.7 ounces.

To achieve this slim profile, Baseus incorporated thinner components such as a 0.35mm charging coil and a 0.15mm NFC module, along with a high-density battery cell.
The outer shell is made of aluminum, while the surface that contacts the phone features glass fiber to prevent scratches.
Thermal Management and Capacity
Wireless charging generates heat, and thin batteries can struggle with cooling.
The Picogo Air AM71 uses an aerogel layer and a graphene sheet internally to dissipate heat, while a grooved exterior design aids passive airflow.

The 5000mAh (19.4Wh) battery provides an actual output of roughly 2,750 to 3,250mAh after accounting for energy conversion loss.
Baseus states it can charge a standard iPhone to about 68% and a Pro Max model to 60%.
Wireless charging supports up to 15W, while the USB-C port offers up to 22.5W wired output.
Recharging the power bank itself maxes out at 20W via the same port.

Smart Features and Safety
The power bank includes a built-in NFC tag. Tapping a phone against it opens the Baseus app, displaying remaining charge, temperature, and battery health.
A trickle charging feature reduces power output when the phone reaches 80% to minimize battery wear.
Safety protections include overcharging and short circuit prevention, along with CCC certification. Baseus says the device has passed durability tests for temperature extremes and crush resistance.

The Picogo Air AM71 comes in silver and black, includes a 60W USB-C cable, and is priced at $69.99 on Amazon in the US.
