Lauren Bennett's sudden death is now under investigation in England, with the coroner involved in the case.

UK authorities confirmed the Kent and Medway Coroner Service is leading the probe, which could take months to conclude.

The musician died on May 29 in Meopham, and the death investigation was officially opened on June 12.

Authorities say the process will continue until at least October 30.

A private memorial service was held in London about a week and a half ago, attended by Bennett's family and closest friends, including former bandmates from G.

Her final solo single, "Hurricane," was inspired by her mother's and a friend's mental health struggles. Bennett was 36 years old.
