On Wednesday morning, Greenville PD officers arrived at the family home of her boyfriend, Brian Hickerson. Police reportedly want information from him about circumstances connected to her death.
One source explained that the investigation was triggered because her death was "unexpected" at age 36.
Police are conducting a parallel investigation with the coroner to establish the cause and manner of death.
The autopsy has been completed, but toxicology results are still pending.
