Clayton Howard, a former male escort turned law student, has filed a declaration in his case against Cassie and Diddy, denying that he threatened Cassie in a TikTok video.
Cassie's legal team had flagged the since-deleted 9-minute video, posted on June 7, in which Howard called her a whore and said, "Bitch, I'm going to burn you out with fire."

He also stated, "You want to play stupid games, you can win stupid prizes."
In his declaration, Howard said he voluntarily removed the video but insisted he never made a threat.

He claimed his comments about "fire" and "stupid games" were figures of speech, not meant to intimidate her.

He acknowledged that some language in the video was "intemperate" and didn't reflect the tone he plans to bring to the litigation.
Cassie had asked the court to ban Howard from trash-talking her on social media.

Howard agreed to refrain from further public commentary during the case, limiting his statements to court filings.
