The Oscar-winning actress made the comment during an interview with former Sony Pictures CEO Michael Lynton at the Aspen Festival of Ideas, as reported by Variety.

Foster said the film's structure was exactly what one would learn in school, and the actors delivered lines as if written by a computer.
She added that the filmmakers dominated the technology to create something big and beautiful, but much of the information came from other places.

Foster seemed unconcerned about the criticism, noting the movie made a lot of money and earned Oscar nominations.
