Chris Johnson is reviving the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge to raise awareness after his own diagnosis, and former NFL stars Marshawn Lynch and LenDale White have already accepted the call.

The former USC and Tennessee Titans running back posted a video of himself getting doused with ice water by his daughter.

He then nominated Vince Young, Deion Sanders, and others to continue the trend.

Johnson's daughter also took the challenge, nominating her brothers and LeBron James.

Lynch, known as Beast Mode, showed his support with a video message. "First off that s*** was hella cold… but for CJ2k, f*** it.

I'm in, I'm wit ya & I support you," he said before pouring ice over his head.

The original Ice Bucket Challenge in 2014 raised $220 million globally for ALS research.

Johnson, who revealed earlier this week he was diagnosed with ALS at age 39, has vowed to keep fighting.
