Xiaomi has officially confirmed the launch of its next T-series smartphone in India.
The Xiaomi 17T will debut in the country on June 4, shortly after its global unveiling on May 28.

This marks the return of the T lineup to the Indian market after a long absence.
The company has already started teasing camera and performance features ahead of the launch.
Leica cameras and availability
Xiaomi has confirmed Leica branding for the rear camera system. Teasers reveal a triple rear camera setup inside a square-shaped module.

The smartphone will be available through Amazon India, where a dedicated microsite is now live. More details are expected in the days leading up to launch.
Rumored specifications
Leaks suggest the Xiaomi 17T may feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 2756×1268 pixel resolution.
It could run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra chipset with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage.

The phone is expected to ship with Android 16-based HyperOS.
For photography, it might include a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 primary camera, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera.
A 32-megapixel front camera is also anticipated.
