A video shows a terrified puppy being rescued from the rubble of a collapsed building in Caracas after devastating twin earthquakes struck Venezuela.
The frightened little pup clings to a rescuer as firefighters offer it sips of water. The dog appears shell-shocked, trying to make sense of the chaos.
It is unclear where its owners are, but the puppy is now in the care of the Caracas Fire Department.
Earthquake Details
The U. S.
Geological Survey reported the first quake registered a magnitude of 7.2, followed by an even stronger 7.5 quake less than a minute later.
The earthquakes hit near the coastal city of Morón, about 104 miles west of Caracas.
Acting Venezuelan President Delcy Rodríguez said at least 164 people were killed and 971 others injured.
