Honor has introduced the X80 Pro Max, its largest battery smartphone yet, equipped with an 11,000mAh cell and a display that reaches 10,000 nits peak brightness.
The device is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor built on a 4nm process, paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
Display and Design
The X80 Pro Max sports a 6.8-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 2788 x 1280 pixels and a dynamic refresh rate between 60Hz and 120Hz.
It supports 3840Hz PWM dimming and features slim 1.3mm bezels for a modern look.
Battery and Charging
The fourth-generation Qinghai Lake battery offers 11,000mAh capacity, delivering up to 42 days of standby time.
Honor claims the phone set a Guinness World Record for the longest continuous smartphone livestream at over 26 hours.
It supports 90W wired fast charging and 27W wired reverse charging, allowing it to power other devices.
Camera and Features
The rear camera is a 50-megapixel sensor with OIS and CIPA 6.0-rated stabilization, while the front camera is 8 megapixels.
Additional features include stereo speakers, NFC, an IR blaster, dual-frequency GPS, tri-band BeiDou, and IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K ratings.
The device also has SGS five-star drop resistance certification and a short-focus in-display fingerprint scanner.
It runs Android 16-based MagicOS 10 with AI features like AI Outdoor Mode and AI Grip Control.

The Honor X80 Pro Max comes in four variants: 8GB+128GB for 1,999 Yuan (~$295), 8GB+256GB for 2,199 Yuan (~$325), 8GB+512GB for 2,499 Yuan (~$370), and 12GB+512GB for 2,799 Yuan (~$415).
Color options include Lightning Red, Vibrant Orange, Moon Shadow White, and Mystic Black.
