OnePlus may have shelved the OnePlus 15s for India, but a new compact flagship is reportedly in the works for China.
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, a compact performance-focused OnePlus smartphone is under development. The device is believed to be the OnePlus 16T.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and Compact Display
The phone is being evaluated with Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset, expected to use a 2nm process.
It will feature a compact 6.3-inch flat display with a very high refresh rate. Other specifications have not been finalized yet.
Development is progressing normally, suggesting a launch in the first quarter of 2027. The OnePlus 15T debuted in March this year.
It remains unclear whether OnePlus will introduce a global version of the OnePlus 16T or a rebranded OnePlus 16s for international markets.
