Touchscreen Glitches
Users report that their phones stop responding to taps and swipes intermittently. Some experience "gesture inversion," where swiping up scrolls down and vice versa.
The issue affects Pixel 10, 9, 8, and 7 series devices. Pixel 6 users seem less affected.
The problem appears to be software-related rather than hardware.
A temporary fix involves toggling the "Smooth Display" setting off and on. Google has acknowledged the issue but has not yet released a permanent patch.
5G and Wi-Fi Connectivity Problems
Many Pixel 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL, 8 Pro, 8a, and some 6a users lost 5G connectivity after the update.
Phones drop to LTE or lose signal entirely.
Some users also report missing eSIM profiles after restarts and Wi-Fi networks that fail to reconnect automatically.
Several Google apps, including YouTube, Gmail, and Google Photos, struggle to load on Wi-Fi.
A workaround is to reset mobile network settings via Settings > System > Reset options > Reset mobile network settings. This restores 5G but wipes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and mobile data configurations.
Users are encouraged to report issues through the feedback tool in system settings or the official Pixel community forums to help Google expedite a fix.
