Buckcherry's tour bus was involved in a deadly multi-vehicle accident early Friday morning in South Carolina, according to the band.
The California rockers shared the news on Instagram Stories, stating the crash occurred on I-26 in Spartanburg County around 2 AM.
The band expressed relief that all members and touring crew are safe and unharmed.
However, police confirmed that the collision ahead of their bus resulted in a fatality.
Buckcherry offered their deepest condolences to the family who lost their loved one.
The South Carolina Department of Transportation reported that a motorist stepped out of his vehicle on I-26 East and was struck and killed by a Toyota sedan during the accident.
Buckcherry is currently on their national 'Roar Like Thunder Tour' across the U. S.
Their next concert is scheduled for tonight in Key West, Florida.
