Motorola has expanded its Android 17 beta program to include the Edge 70 Max, the company's latest smartphone launched in July 2026.
The beta program is now live in EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa) and India, according to an official community post.
Interested users can register for the beta testing opportunity, but the number of testers is limited.
Motorola advises submitting participation as early as possible to secure a spot.
New Features in Android 17 Beta
The Android 17 beta brings a Classic Control Center, new status bar icons, and updated home screen icons.
Haptics have been improved, offering different feedback when swiping notifications.
Live Updates now appear in the camera cutout, similar to Apple's implementation, instead of the left side of the status bar.
The update adds support for most day-to-day apps and introduces new lock screen clock faces and font styles.
Taking screenshots is easier with a three-finger swipe down, and split-screen can be opened with a three-finger swipe up.
Additional features include Landscape Stereo, Enhanced HDR Brightness, and Battery health.
