Realme has expanded its Number series in India with the launch of the 16x 5G, a mid-range smartphone that prioritizes battery life and display smoothness.
The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip, built on a 6nm process, and pairs it with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.
It runs Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16, with a cooling system that includes a 5,300mm² vapor chamber and GT Boost for gaming.
The phone features a 6.81-inch HD+ LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits in high-brightness mode.
A standout feature is the 7,000mAh battery, which supports 45W SUPERVOOC charging, bypass charging, and 6.5W reverse charging.
Realme claims the battery retains over 97.28% health after one year and over 94.48% after two years, thanks to an AI Long-Life Algorithm.
For photography, the 16x 5G sports a 50MP main camera on the back and an 8MP selfie shooter, along with AI tools like Ultra Clarity, Eraser, and Glare Remover.
The device also supports Google Gemini and comes with an IP65 rating and Rain Touch Mode for wet finger usage.
Design-wise, it features a textured back with metal accents under Realme's Blooming Design language.
Pricing and availability
The Realme 16x 5G is available in three variants: 4GB + 128GB for ₹25,999, 6GB + 128GB for ₹27,999, and 6GB + 256GB for ₹30,999.
Color options include Glory White and Endurance Brown.
Customers can avail a ₹2,000 exchange bonus or a ₹1,000 instant discount on EMI, along with no-cost EMI options.
