Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy is back on the practice field, just two weeks after his wife was allegedly shot by their son at the family home.
The longtime coach returned to training camp in St. Joseph, Missouri, on Monday, following the tragic incident.

Bieniemy had been away since the shooting, immediately leaving to be with his wife. According to head coach Andy Reid, Mia Bieniemy is recovering well.
While he was absent, passing game coordinator Joe Bleymaier handled the on-field offensive coordinator duties. Bieniemy stayed involved remotely, participating in meetings.
Now that he's back, he is once again running the Chiefs' offense.
The team was thrilled to see him, including longtime Chiefs broadcaster Mitch Holthus, who gave him a big hug.
Meanwhile, the couple's 27-year-old son, Elijah, faces three felony charges and remains in county jail. He could face serious prison time if convicted.
