Craig Melvin and Al Roker have obtained a restraining order against Andrew Truelove, the man accused of storming the "Today" show studio on Thursday.
The protective order was granted by a judge, according to Truelove's attorney, Lawrence Gerzog. It requires Truelove to stay away from both NBC hosts and their homes.
Truelove is currently held at Rikers Island on $20,000 bail, facing multiple hate crime charges.
He allegedly bypassed security at the NBC studio, asked for Al Roker, and then confronted Craig Melvin in a restricted area.
Police say he lunged at Melvin while yelling racial epithets.
On Friday's broadcast, Melvin addressed the incident, expressing gratitude that the suspect was arrested and no one was injured.
Truelove has a lengthy criminal history, including a felony conviction, according to TMZ.
