Health inspectors discovered a "large quantity of small flies" in the storage room near employee restrooms at Trump National Golf Club Washington, D.

C. , according to a recent inspection report.

The Loudoun County inspection covered the main clubhouse restaurant, snack bar, and club grill.

Violations included food stored at unsafe temperatures, such as blue cheese, sausage patties, sausage links, and pasta.

Raw steak, fish, and burgers were stored improperly above ready-to-eat foods like tortillas and sauces, inspectors noted.

At the snack bar, the chemical sanitizer solution in the sink exceeded the maximum strength level allowed by regulations.

The club was also cited for using and storing pesticides not approved for food establishments.

Club officials told NOTUS, which first reported the violations, that the establishment was being politically targeted, leading to the negative report.
