Insta360's next-generation pocket gimbal camera, the Luna Ultra, has appeared at a German retailer for pre-order, signaling an imminent official launch.
Foto Erhardt is offering a €50 reservation program for the device, which will be deducted from the final price.
Deliveries could start within roughly a month, depending on Insta360's rollout schedule.
Premium Features and Competition
The Luna Ultra is expected to compete directly with DJI's Osmo Pocket 4P in the premium compact creator camera segment.
Early details suggest a dual-camera setup co-engineered with Leica, including a 1-inch main sensor with a Leica Summicron lens.
The camera is rumored to support 8K video, 10-bit i-Log color, Leica color profiles, and 4K recording at up to 120fps.
Stabilization is a key focus, with a 3-axis gimbal system and a triple AI chip for subject tracking and automated framing via Deep Track.
A detachable remote control with an integrated touchscreen is also expected, offering more flexibility for vloggers and solo creators.
While global pricing is unconfirmed, Insta360's CEO previously hinted at a range between $780 and $960 depending on the bundle, placing the Luna Ultra in premium territory.
The quiet retailer pre-orders suggest the official launch is near.
If leaked specs hold, the Luna Ultra could become one of the most ambitious compact creator cameras this year, appealing to users seeking high-end video quality without a larger setup.
