Vivo has officially announced the Y600 Turbo in China, a smartphone that packs a massive 9020mAh (typical 9000mAh) battery.

It is the second largest battery phone from Vivo, following the Y600 Pro.

The company claims the battery retains at least 80% health after 1,200 charge cycles.

The device supports 90W fast charging, reverse wired charging, and global direct power supply.

Despite the large cell, the phone measures just 8.29mm thick and weighs 215 grams. It comes in three colors: Dune Gold, Electric Blue, and Millennium Pink.

Display and Performance

The Vivo Y600 Turbo features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution (2800×1260), 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 5000 nits peak brightness.

It supports 1.07 billion colors and 4320Hz high-frequency PWM dimming for eye comfort.

Under the hood, the phone runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 mobile platform built on a 4nm process.

It is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Graphics are handled by the Adreno 810 GPU.

Camera and Features

The rear camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The front features an 8MP selfie camera.

Both front and rear cameras support EIS stabilization, and the rear camera can record up to 4K video.

The device runs on OriginOS 6 and supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, in-display fingerprint scanning, and multiple navigation systems.

It also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for ingress protection.

Pricing and Availability

The Vivo Y600 Turbo starts at 2,299 yuan (about $339) for the 8GB+256GB model.

The 12GB+256GB version is priced at 2,599 yuan (~$382), and the 12GB+512GB variant costs 2,899 yuan (~$426).
