Carlos Boozer has some wisdom for his son Cameron after the 18-year-old was picked third overall by the Memphis Grizzlies in the 2026 NBA Draft.
TMZ Sports caught up with the Boozer family in New York City, where the draft was held, and asked the former NBA veteran what guidance he plans to give his son.

Carlos, who was selected 35th overall in 2002 and played 13 seasons in the league, said: "My biggest advice would be to be where your feet are.
Just enjoy the process.
A lot of times we get caught up on thinking about what happened before, or looking forward to something coming in the future.

My biggest advice is be where you are, enjoy every moment."
He added that the family was headed to Memphis right after the draft to celebrate.

Carlos expressed immense pride in his son's achievement. "Last night was amazing.
So excited for Cameron. He's had a helluva journey.
Worked his butt off. The entire family is very proud of him, going to Memphis," he said.

Cameron, the 2026 Wooden Award winner, will join a Grizzlies team coming off a 25-57 season in 2025-2026, and Memphis will need his talents on the court.
