JPMorgan Chase has reportedly fired a senior executive who was caught on video stealing a trash bin during the New York Knicks championship parade.
The bank told the New York Post that Angie Baez, an Executive Director of Community and Industry Engagement for Card and Connected Commerce, was terminated after footage of the incident went viral.

The bizarre scene unfolded last Thursday as the Knicks celebrated their NBA Finals victory over the San Antonio Spurs, winning the series 4-1.

Videos posted on X show Baez, wearing Knicks gear, emptying the contents of a city trash bin onto the sidewalk and then walking away with the receptacle, leaving stunned onlookers behind.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Baez had been with JPMorgan Chase in Manhattan.

Prior to that, she served as Executive Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at The Infatuation, a New York restaurant review website.
