New photos show Donald Trump's name has been removed from the Kennedy Center in Washington, D. C.
The iconic venue's facade is now free of the large block letters that once spelled out "Donald J.

Images obtained by the group Hands off the Arts reveal the building's new look behind a tarp and scaffolding that still partially cover the area.

The removal follows a months-long legal battle.
Courts ruled that the Trump-controlled Kennedy Center board did not have the authority to rename the building after the former president.

Workers took down the signage earlier this month, but a large tarp remained in place until now.
Visitors can finally see the Kennedy Center without the controversial Trump name, though some scaffolding and the tarp are still present.
