Red Magic has teased its upcoming Gaming Tablet 5 Pro, confirming a 185Hz ultra-high refresh rate display.
That's a step up from the 165Hz panel on last year's Tablet 3 Pro.

The official launch is scheduled for June 30 at 15:00 local time in China.
Display and Design
The tablet features a 9-inch OLED screen with a 185Hz refresh rate, promising smooth visuals for gaming and other content.
It sports a semi-transparent back with RGB lighting integrated into the water-cooling system. Red Magic says custom light-guiding materials improve lighting uniformity by 200%.
Two color options are available: Deuterium Blade Transparent Silver Wing and Deuterium Blade Transparent Dark Night.

The back is completely flat, and the company describes the size as "golden" for comfortable one-handed use.
Performance and Cooling
Under the hood, the tablet is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, with up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
The new Magic Cooling system includes a piezoelectric micro-pump, RGB lighting, and additional fan support to manage heat during heavy gaming sessions.

The battery is an 8,300mAh cell, slightly larger than the 8,200mAh battery in its predecessor, with fast charging support.
Pricing Context
Last year's Red Magic Gaming Tablet 3 Pro (known globally as the Red Magic Astra) started at around 3,999 yuan (approximately €517).
The 5 Pro represents a solid evolution with a higher refresh rate, improved cooling, and a more premium transparent design that showcases the internal liquid cooling pipes.
Red Magic continues its focus on aggressive cooling and gamer-centric features, and the Gaming Tablet 5 Pro appears to continue that tradition.
