Obsbot has introduced the Meet Flip, a new foldable webcam designed for desktop and mobile use.
The device is now available at an introductory price of 599 yuan (about $88), with a standard retail price of 699 yuan (around $103).

It targets remote workers, educators, and users needing a portable camera for video calls.
Design and Build
The Meet Flip features a foldable resin body connected by a metal hinge, weighing just 37.7 grams.
The hinge allows the camera to rotate up to 180 degrees, and the mounting clip fits monitors up to 20.5mm thick.
Users can adjust the viewing angle between 0 and 77 degrees and mount the camera horizontally, vertically, or upside down.

Camera Specifications
Inside, the webcam uses a 1/2-inch stacked CMOS sensor from Sony with 48-megapixel resolution. It outputs video at up to 4K at 30fps or 1080p at 60fps.
The lens has an f/1.8 aperture for better low-light performance. The stacked sensor design enables faster data readout, improving image quality and responsiveness.
The camera offers a 72-degree field of view in 16:9 mode (79.1 degrees in 4:3) with a 25mm equivalent focal length.
It employs phase-detection autofocus (PDAF) that can lock onto a subject in 0.3 seconds.
HDR processing helps balance harsh lighting, and up to 4x digital zoom is available.

Software Features
The Meet Flip includes automatic framing to keep the subject centered and supports hand gestures for zoom control or toggling framing.
Companion software provides virtual backgrounds, background blur, appearance filters, eye-contact correction, a built-in teleprompter, and AI-generated meeting summaries.
Audio and Connectivity
For audio, the device has a dual-microphone setup with one directional and one omnidirectional mic.
Users can switch between four audio pickup modes, and noise reduction filters out background sounds.

The webcam connects via USB as a plug-and-play device and is compatible with Windows 10 and macOS 11 or newer.
