Could the White House host a college basketball game next? UConn head coach Dan Hurley thinks it's a great idea.
Hurley attended the UFC Freedom 250 event at the White House on Sunday and was asked about the possibility of bringing college hoops to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

"That would be good, man," Hurley said. "I think UConn should definitely be in it.

Maybe UConn [vs.] Duke!!"
The UFC event celebrated the country's anniversary in 2026, and with another celebration coming next year, Hurley sees an opportunity for basketball.

If he had his way, his Huskies would tip off against the Blue Devils on the South Lawn.

Hurley also weighed in on the NBA Finals, offering his take on whether the New York Knicks won or the San Antonio Spurs blew it.
