Ugreen has introduced a new magnetic phone cooler, the LP1012, now available in China through JD. com for 199 yuan (roughly $29).
The accessory is designed for gamers, video recorders, and livestreamers whose phones often overheat, dim screens, or throttle performance under heavy use.

Cooling Performance and Design
Inside the LP1012 is a 36x36mm thermoelectric (TEC) cooling plate that can bring surface temperatures down to -25°C under lab conditions, according to Ugreen.
Real-world results may vary depending on environment and workload.
The cooler uses a six-layer design including the TEC chip, aluminum heat-conducting plate, cooling fins, and thermal silicone pads.
Heat is dissipated by a seven-blade fan with three speed settings: 2,500 RPM (20dB), 4,000 RPM, and 6,500 RPM.

The vents push hot air out the sides to avoid blowing onto your hands while holding the phone horizontally.
The device weighs 96 grams and attaches magnetically. It snaps onto iPhone 12 and newer models via MagSafe.
For Android phones or tablets, Ugreen includes an adhesive magnetic ring and a physical phone clamp.
The cooler has a digital display showing temperature and cooling mode, plus an RGB light ring with 12 LEDs and five patterns.
The lighting can be turned off if desired.
It requires a USB-C connection to a charger that outputs at least 30W for full performance.
A 1/4-inch thread on the casing allows mounting on a tripod for stationary video recording.
