Tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has shared new details about a phone that aligns with the upcoming OnePlus 16.

The device is reportedly being tested with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chip and a 185Hz refresh rate.

DCS warns that pushing the refresh rate beyond 200Hz could degrade display quality and may not be practical.

This suggests 185Hz could be the final spec, rather than a baseline for a higher figure.

The display is said to be a 6.78-inch 1.5K BOE panel with improved brightness, color gamut, and power efficiency.

More notably, the bezels are claimed to be under 1mm on all sides, which would be the thinnest in the smartphone industry if true.

For context, the Meizu 22 currently holds the record at 1.2mm.

Earlier leaks have pointed to a large 9,000mAh battery and camera upgrades.

OnePlus has not confirmed a launch date, but a China debut is expected in the final quarter of 2026.
