Honor has quietly introduced the X70 Pro Max in China, ahead of the upcoming X80 Pro Max launch scheduled for June 22.
The new model brings several upgrades over the standard X70.

Display and Performance
The Honor X70 Pro Max features a 6.79-inch AMOLED display with 2640 x 1200 resolution, DCI-P3 color gamut, and a peak brightness of 6,000 nits.
It also supports 3840Hz PWM dimming for eye comfort.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 Enhanced Edition chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.

It runs MagicOS 10.0 based on Android 16.
Camera and Battery
The rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel sensor with f/1.8 aperture and electronic image stabilization. For selfies, there is an 8-megapixel front camera.
The phone packs a massive 8,560mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging and wired reverse charging support.
Additional Features and Pricing
Other features include stereo speakers, NFC, an infrared blaster, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, dual-SIM 5G, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner.

The device boasts IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K dust and water resistance ratings.
The Honor X70 Pro Max comes in Phantom Purple, Sunburst Gold, Bamboo Green, and Phantom Night Black.
Pricing starts at 1,999 Yuan (~$300) for the 8GB+256GB variant, while the 8GB+512GB model costs 2,399 Yuan (~$355).

Currently, the device appears to be limited to China, with no confirmation on a global release.
