Vivo has shared new details about the upcoming X Fold 6, confirming its camera system, display, and AI features through Weibo posts by company executives.
Camera system highlights
The Vivo X Fold 6 will feature a 200-megapixel main camera using Samsung's HPB sensor with a 1/1.4-inch size, f/1.68 aperture, and CIPA 4.5-level image stabilization.

It will be the first foldable to include a ZEISS APO-certified periscope telephoto camera based on Sony's LYT-602 sensor.
The device supports the Vivo ZEISS Teleconverter G2, enabling an equivalent focal length of up to 200mm for distant subjects like concerts and sporting events.
Additional camera features include Vivo's V3+ imaging chip, multiple portrait focal lengths from 23mm to 100mm, full-focus flash, and AI-assisted photography tools.

Display and design
The inner screen measures 8.02 inches and uses Samsung's latest M14 emissive material.
Both inner and outer displays can reach 5,000 nits peak brightness, with a 1-nit low-brightness mode for night viewing.
The foldable has TÜV Rheinland Global Eye Protection 3.0 certification.

Vivo highlighted a new Blue Hole color option inspired by deep-sea blue sinkholes, with more rounded corners and a refined metal frame for improved comfort.
Performance and software
The X Fold 6 will be powered by the Dimensity 9500 chipset, moving away from Snapdragon processors used in previous Vivo foldables.
It runs OriginOS 6 Fold with an upgraded Atomic Workbench feature that supports multiple apps simultaneously on the large display, aiming for smoother multitasking.
