Ugreen has introduced the NASync DXP GT series, comprising two new network-attached storage devices: the DXP2800 GT and the DXP4800 GT.

The GT designation draws inspiration from Grand Touring, emphasizing speed, endurance, and sustained performance.

Both models are powered by an AMD Ryzen Embedded R2514 processor with four cores and eight threads, reaching a boost frequency of up to 3.7GHz.

Ugreen claims a 26% improvement in CPU performance over select older DXP models.

Each NAS comes with 8GB of DDR4 RAM, expandable to 64GB, and 64GB of eMMC storage for the operating system.

They run UGOS Pro, Ugreen's proprietary NAS operating system.

Key differences between DXP2800 GT and DXP4800 GT

The DXP2800 GT is a 2-bay entry-level model with two SATA HDD slots and two M. 2 NVMe SSD slots, supporting up to 80TB of total storage.

It features a single 10GbE RJ45 port, a USB-C 10Gbps port, a USB-A 10Gbps port on the front, additional USB-A ports on the rear, and an HDMI 2.1 output.

The DXP4800 GT is a 4-bay model supporting up to 144TB of storage, combining four SATA HDD bays with two M.

2 NVMe SSD slots. Its networking is upgraded with dual 10GbE ports, enabling link aggregation up to 20Gbps.

This makes it suitable for 4K or 8K video editing and running virtual machines.

The DXP4800 GT also includes an SD 3.0 card reader on the front panel and broader RAID support, covering JBOD, RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, and 10.

Both NAS devices run UGOS Pro, which supports Docker, virtual machines, AI-powered photo organization, a built-in surveillance center for camera management, and Ugreenlink remote access for secure file access without public IP configuration.

The hardware design is identical: a space gray aluminum body with gold trim accents, a rear magnetic dust mesh filter, and a hydraulic fan operating between 29 and 34 dB for quiet 24/7 operation.

The Ugreen DXP2800 GT is priced at $509.99, while the DXP4800 GT costs $659.99 in the US.

Both come with a 2-year warranty and a 30-day return window. Storage drives are sold separately.
