Infinix has confirmed the launch of its latest budget smartphone, the Infinix Smart 20, in India on June 8.
The device is designed to offer a balance of style, display quality, and durability for everyday users.
Design and Display
The Smart 20 measures just 7.7mm thick and features a textured rear panel that resists fingerprints and improves grip.
It sports a 6.78-inch punch-hole display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 700 nits brightness in High Brightness Mode.
The screen also includes an adaptive refresh rate system that adjusts based on content.
Performance and Storage
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultimate processor.
Infinix claims the device has earned a 48-month fluency certification for sustained smooth performance.
It will be available in 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB configurations, with Memory Fusion technology allowing RAM expansion up to 8GB.
Camera and Durability
The Smart 20 is equipped with 8-megapixel front and rear cameras.
It carries an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance and supports touch input even with oily or greasy fingers.
Infinix states the phone has passed over 25,000 drop tests, including drops from up to 1.5 meters.
Software and Special Features
The device runs on XOS 16, which includes AI-powered tools via Folax AI such as document scanning, song recognition, speaker cleaning, and quick queries.
It also introduces Ultra Link, enabling offline communication over distances of up to one kilometer without network connectivity.
