Two of the three people killed in a helicopter crash in California have been identified as an NBC Los Angeles reporter and her pilot.
The victims were Eliana Moreno, who also reported for Telemundo, and pilot George Marciniw, according to NBC Los Angeles.
The crash occurred in Chatsworth and was described as fatal and fiery.
A third victim, a pedestrian, has not yet been identified.
At the time of the crash, Moreno and Marciniw had been covering a fatal bus crash that left at least two people dead.

Moreno, who used the social media handle "Eli in the heli," had flown with Marciniw for the last three years.
In 2025, she announced her engagement to fiancé Robert Barrientos, whose Instagram profile includes the words "Eliana ❤️."
Marciniw's instructor profile stated he had more than 30 years of flight experience.
He would frequently tag Moreno on social media as the source of his photos.
NBC Los Angeles and Telemundo 52 said in a joint statement they were deeply saddened by the fatal accident involving a helicopter providing aerial news coverage for the outlets on Tuesday evening.
The statement extended heartfelt condolences to the families, friends and colleagues of those who lost their lives.
NBC Los Angeles anchors had covered the crash on live TV and were distraught over the loss of their colleagues.
