Xiaomi is expected to launch the Xiaomi 18 series in September, featuring the world's first Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 flagship chipset.

Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has shared new details about the lineup on Weibo.

Compact flagship with 6.4-inch 2K display

According to DCS, the standard Xiaomi 18 will have a display measuring around 6.4 inches.

The screen is said to feature a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, large-radius corners, ultra-narrow symmetrical bezels, and a flat-panel design.

The display is tipped to offer effective 2K resolution for sharper visuals. DCS also mentioned that the Xiaomi 18 Pro series will debut an exclusive new display technology.

Battery and camera upgrades

When asked about battery capacity, DCS responded that the number starts with “7,” suggesting a 7,000mAh-class battery.

This is likely to power both the standard and Pro models.

The tipster also highlighted dual 200-megapixel cameras and silicon-carbon battery technology as key upgrades. Imaging improvements are expected across the lineup.

Pro Max and foldable details

The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max is rumored to feature a 6.9-inch 2K OLED screen, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chip, and an 8,500mAh battery.

Both the Pro and Pro Max may retain a rear-facing display, which is said to become more versatile.

Tipster Smart Pikachu claims Xiaomi is exploring AI-powered desktop experiences for secondary displays on the Pro models and the upcoming Xiaomi 18 Fold.
