Samsung's next foldable may finally address battery life complaints.
According to tipster Ice Universe, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is expected to feature a 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired charging.

This would be a notable upgrade from the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which had a 4,400mAh battery and 25W charging.
Samsung has kept the Fold series at 4,400mAh for several generations, while competitors like Oppo Find N6 and Honor Magic V5 have reached 6,000mAh.
A jump to 5,000mAh would not make the Fold 8 Ultra a battery champion, but it would narrow the gap significantly.

Design and weight remain unchanged
Ice Universe claims the larger battery comes without increasing size or weight.
The Fold 8 Ultra is said to weigh around 215g and measure roughly 4.1mm unfolded and 8.9mm folded.

Current rumors point to two Fold models. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is expected to retain Samsung's traditional tall-and-narrow form factor.
Meanwhile, a wider variant, previously called Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide, may be marketed simply as the Galaxy Z Fold 8.
The wider model is also rumored to receive battery and charging upgrades, possibly a 4,800mAh battery with 45W charging support.
