Honor has expanded its budget smartphone lineup in China with the Play 11, joining the existing Play 11C, Play 11T, Play 11 Plus, and Play 11 Pro.

The new model targets users who need long battery life and a rugged build for daily use.

Key Specifications and Features

The Honor Play 11 sports a 6.872-inch TFT LCD with a 1592 x 720-pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The panel reaches up to 1,020 nits in HBM mode and includes DC dimming, an eye comfort mode, and a natural light-like display mode.

Under the hood, it runs on the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chip, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The device ships with Android 16-based MagicOS 10.0 and includes a dedicated AI key for one-tap pop-up removal and other AI functions.

For photography, the Play 11 features a 50-megapixel rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 5-megapixel front camera with an f/2.2 aperture.

It carries an 8,300mAh battery, although its rated capacity is 7,900mAh, and supports 45W wired charging plus wired reverse charging.

Honor says the battery is designed to retain its health over a six-year period under stated laboratory conditions.

The phone also features stereo speakers with a high-volume mode that can increase output by up to 400 percent.

Connectivity options include 5G, dual nano-SIM support, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.

For security, it has a side-facing fingerprint sensor and a dedicated AI button on the side.

The AI button can identify and dismiss pop-up windows with a single press and provides quick access to Honor’s Any Door, remote assistance, and AI face-swap detection.

In terms of durability, the Honor Play 11 arrives with IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for water and dust resistance.

It has also received SGS Gold Label five-star certification for drop resistance and compression resistance, with Honor claiming protection against drops from heights of up to 2.5 metres.

The phone measures 168.3 x 78.54 x 8.30mm and weighs 216.5 grams.

Price and Availability

The Honor Play 11 starts at 1,399 Yuan (~$195) for the 6GB+128GB version.

The 8GB+128GB model costs 1,599 Yuan (~$225), while the 8GB+256GB variant is priced at 1,899 Yuan (~$2655).

It comes in color options such as Desert Gold, Mist Purple, Meteor Silver, and Phantom Black finishes.

These are Chinese prices, and Honor has not yet announced international availability.
