Motorola has officially introduced the Edge 2026, its latest midrange smartphone for the North American market. The device combines premium display technology, a capable chipset, and enhanced durability.
Display and Performance
The Edge 2026 sports a 6.3-inch 1.5K OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support.

Peak brightness reaches 5,200 nits, and the panel is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
Under the hood, the phone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7450 processor built on a 4nm process.
It is paired with a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU, 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 128GB of internal storage.
Software and AI Features
The device ships with Android 16 out of the box. Motorola promises three guaranteed Android OS upgrades.
Users can choose between Moto AI, Google Gemini, or Perplexity as their primary virtual assistant.

The phone also supports Google's Circle to Search and Motorola's Smart Connect for seamless file sharing with PCs and tablets.
Camera System
The rear camera setup includes a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 main sensor with OIS and 4K video recording.
It is accompanied by a 50MP ultrawide lens that doubles as a macro camera and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS.
For selfies, there is a 50MP front-facing camera. AI enhancements include a background Photo Enhancement Engine and an Action Shot feature for stabilizing moving subjects.
Battery and Charging
The Edge 2026 is powered by a 5,000mAh battery. It supports 60W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging.
Motorola claims that seven minutes of wired charging provides enough power for a day of use.

Durability and Connectivity
The phone carries IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering protection against dust, water submersion, and high-pressure water jets. It also meets MIL-STD-810H standards for drop and shock resistance.
Additional features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.4.
Pricing and Availability
The Motorola Edge 2026 will be available starting June 11. In the US, the unlocked model costs $599.99 at Best Buy and Motorola.
