Citizen has expanded its Attesa collection with two limited-edition models: the CC4085-81Z and CC4084-83Z.

Both watches are now available in the UK for £1,595. In the US, only the CC4085-81Z is listed so far, priced at $2,295.

Shared Titanium Build and GPS Movement

The two models share identical dimensions and internal hardware.

Each features a 44.6mm case made from Citizen’s Super Titanium, treated with a black diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating for scratch resistance.

A matching black titanium bracelet uses a standard safety fold-over clasp with push buttons.

Sapphire crystal covers the dial, and both watches are rated for 100 meters of water resistance.

Inside, the watches run on Citizen’s Calibre F950 movement. This uses Eco-Drive technology, which charges the watch using ambient light instead of replaceable batteries.

The main technical feature is Satellite Wave GPS.

Rather than pairing with a smartphone app via Bluetooth, the watch connects directly to GPS satellites to automatically update the time and date based on the wearer’s location anywhere in the world.

The movement also handles a perpetual calendar, world time tracking, and basic chronograph functions.

Cosmetic Differences and Limited Availability

The differences between the two models are entirely cosmetic.

The CC4085-81Z has a purple and black design, featuring a dark dial with violet accents, rose gold-tone markers, and purple ink tones in the subdials.

The CC4084-83Z uses a green color scheme, combining a black dial with a green center gradient and a green insert on the world time bezel.

Citizen is capping production at 1,500 units for each model globally.

The watches are unnumbered, but the limited production run applies to both the purple and green variants.

In related news, Citizen has recently launched a rugged new Eco-Drive field watch with a military-inspired look, alongside a limited-edition bullhead racing watch with Eco-Drive and 200m water resistance.
